About Me
I am a retired physician living in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from the University of Rochester in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology. In 1972, I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Yale University. Although I have no formal degree in photography, over the past 39 years I have pursued an education in fine art photography. My experience has included attending classes and workshops at Monterey Community College, Pittsburgh Filmmakers, Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, Vancouver Photo Workshops, as well as online courses. I have learned from photographers all over the world through group and private workshops. I am an active member of the Portland Photography Forum.
Photography has become the creative voice of my soul and fills me with joy and satisfaction. I see with contemplative eyes and a reflective mind.
